Get rid of Guide Plus on my RCA ?

Hi,everybody,this is my first post here ,so bear with me please  I really did like the Guide Plus feature on my new 32 " RCA,however,it does not seem to be compatlble with my digital cable box, unfortunately,cause their guide is a lot worse,listings a day in advance if you're lucky,then alot of times the guide is simply wrong.Anyway,now everytime I turn my cable box and TV on,I have to manually turn off the Guide Plus menu,as there are no listings to be had.This gets very bothersome,as I always have to have the RCA TV remote handy to turn the Guide Plus off.Any ideas off how to turn off this feature on my TV ? Thanks !
