Hello,
We've been having issues with a Phillips LCD (2010-2011 model) and are trying to figure out what might be wrong with it.
The TV was purchased used several months ago, and I noticed that we needed to turn up the contrast and brightness a bit higher than normal to get the picture to look right. Now, it works fine with no noticeable problems for the first 30 or so minutes, then the screen starts flickering and there's image retention as well. This problem gets progressively worse the longer the TV stays on. Turning it off and back on again helps, but it starts flickering again a few minutes later.
This issue happens every time the TV is used, regardless of the input. I also tried turning down the contrast and changing some of the other settings, but haven't found anything that works. Any ideas on what may be causing the problem?
