LG 55" Sound But No Picture

My LG 55LA6230 TV has sound but no picture. I have swapped out every board (main/power/tcon) as well as all cables & ribbons one by one and retested as I went using same or very similar parts from a LG 50LA6230TB TV.
All the parts from the 50" work but still no picture on the 55".
All parts taken out of the 55" work in the 50" (the 50" has sound and picture).
The problem remains no matter what - being that when it is turned on the screen emits a brief flash and then nothing. I used a torch to check the display but there's nothing there so I have no backlight and no image.
Is it possible that the 55" powerboard isn't delivering enough juice to the larger screen but does produce enough for the 50"?
