Need Help With Samsung TV. Model# HL-T6756W

Hello,
I've been having some trouble with my Samsung television and after exhaustively searching for answers I can't seem to find someone having the exact same problem as me and I was wondering if anyone can tell me what I need to do to get my tv fixed, preferably without having to call a technician.
Here is a picture of my television, sometimes the lines are purple, sometimes they are either green or pink. https://imgur.com/WjyCbgr
I used to be able to just turn the tv on and off and it would work eventually but the problem is becoming more severe. Last night, I went through the typical routine of turning the tv on and off, but this time the television display was black and I couldn't get it to display properly for over an hour. I'm not sure if it is the capacitors that Samsung is so famous for having go out, or the color wheel, or something entirely different.
Can anyone give me some insight as to what may be wrong?
