No Picture or Sound on TV Can't Post
Hisense 58r6e tv has no picture or sound. LED light blinks every 10 seconds. when i shine flashlight on screen when the LED is blinking you can see Hisense on screen briefly and then disappears when LED stops blinking like it's trying to come on and then stops. If it's trying to come on would it more likely be the power supply or main board.

Almost certainly backlight failure. (unfortunately)

Most of the Troubleshooting issues I have read say that you should still have sound with backlight failures. I have no sound. It seems like tv is trying to start when led light blinks every 10 seconds, but then stops.

Yes, you are correct, however, in the case of Hisense, when a "no backlight" is detected it shuts down with a flashing LED
