Panasonic LA7838 Explodes!

Panasonic PC-33XF40R came in with no vert sweep. Replaced IC 451 (LA7838) turned it on and everything was perfect. Turned it off for a few minutes then back on and after 10 seconds the IC blew up.
Replaced the bypass cap from ic to d.yoke along with a few other caps tried a new ic and the same thing happened! Any help would be great.
