Philips 46PFL5505D/F7 TV Spurious inputs

I am getting spurious inputs on the TV (changing volume, changing input and channels on its own).
I have opened it up and found the keypad connector was loose at the base where it was soldered. As I was inspecting it, the thing just fell off.
Leaving the keypad disconnected I figured the issue would go away but it is still giving me spurious inputs.
Any ideas what might be going on with it?
