Polaroid P40LED13 wont turn on Can't Post
Hello all,

I have a Polaroid P40LED13, and when I plug it in the standby light flashes 7 times and the TV will not turn on.

Does anyone know what the 7 flashes indicate, or where I can find the code list?

Pick a sub forum and stick to it. We 'see' all new posts.

Probably one or more defective electrolytics on the main board, but since there is a big pond between us and techs on this side of pond have limitations hunting by model for service literature, board numbers, heck, even getting a vintage on an item can be tricky....

Hi,

The capacitors are fine, I was hoping to find out what the 7 flashes actually indicated, I did find a repair kit http://www.ohmsupplies.co.uk/...-P40LED13-REPAIR-KIT for the Power board, but unsure if its the board that needs repaired.

Did you get any answer to your problem. I have the same issue. I even replaced all the capacitors but still no picture. I am thinking it might be the backlight.
