Samsung 40" LED Panel or power supply issue? UN40KU6300F

This happened recently, there is NO external damage to it, and no one in the house thinks they banged it or leaned on it or anything, but when I try power the TV on, I get backlight, 1/2 second of sound, then it powers itself off (turning black). A minute later it power cycles again but this time with no sound where I get backlight for a second and it cycles off again, and that just keeps repeating until I unplug it. I also noticed in the lower left corner that the backlight shines like through a possible crack and when I took the TV off the wall to check it out closer, it then started with a flickering purple vertical line on that side as well. Question is, is this something I can repair with a board replacement (like power or main board) or does it look like a panel issue and should just be tossed (which is what I'm pretty sure it is)? Thanks for any advice!! I have pics and a video of it here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1PGWhAbvx9ig9aXylSYBJWAKZ0XdHsdpY?usp=sharing
