Samsung DLP HLT6187SX/XAA Picture Takes A While to Come On

I have a Samsung DLP HLT6187SX/XAA tv. It is around 7 years old. A couple of months ago, I noticed that when the tv was powered on, the picture would not come up. I would turn it off and on a few times and the picture would eventually come on. Over time, it would take longer for the picture to come up. I would have to turn it on, let it sit for 30 minutes or so, turn it off, then turn it on again and everything was good. Since last week that 30 minutes has turned to over an hour. Any ideas on what part could be causing this issue?
