Ignore my last. Angelic Should still involve tcon.

Must of had a disconnect between my brain and the keyboard. Or as Maxwell Smart would say ... 'Missed it by "that much".'

I forgot in last: Is OSD/menus affected? Are they normal 'on top' of solarized or 'under' and affected by solarization?

Tcon was NEW from Manufacturer?

was 'new-to-you?' (pulled from a working set with a broken panel, guaranteed up the wazoo. Usually via: fleabay, Amaz, Uncle Mike's recycled LCD parts emporium, etc.)

Bought part from eBid, similar to eBay.
States part is used but has been fully tested by their technicians

It was the only place I could find the part with the TV being oldish

IF OSD/Menu normal, tcon forward should be OK. Problem would then lie with main board. Don't forget to clean/reseat ends of any flat ribbon cables.

Thanks, I'll clean the ribbon ends and see if it makes any difference. I've given up with it for now but will get back onto it later

Looking back at your prior pix, three tcon ends are not that style of connector/cable, but you don't show the other ends.
