I bought a service manual and did some voltage meter checks this morning and I need some help interpreting the results. For instance, the manual says: Does proper Main DC B12V, B13V, B5V appear at TP - B12V, B13V, B5V? There are no specification ranges in the manual, so how do I know what is "proper"? In this case, the 12V circuit tested out at 13V. Is that a failure or a pass? (I assume it fails but don't want to buy parts on that assumption!) Also, the manual advises to "Check the output voltage of SMPS", but it doesn't have any specifications for the output voltage. Does anyone have these to share? Thank you for your help.
