Samsung UE32C5800 Screen Swap	Can't Post

I recently received a samsung UE32C5800-QKXXU with a cracked screen. after spending nearly a month trying to source parts for the tv i found it to be near impossible.
so instead i purchased a samsung UE32C6620-UKXXU to scavenge the screen out of. Now in my error i hadn't realised that the model number of the screens were slightly different but anyway i moved the new screen into the old tv and it all went back together fine. However when first booted it spent about 5-10 minutes rebooting itself in a constant loop and now it just stays on. But with out any picture. However both the backlight and the sound are working.
Now I'm curious as to wether this could work or wether the project was doomed from the start.

The original screens model number: LTF320HM02-A01
The new screens model number:LTF320HF02

Google both panel numbers for datasheets and compare yourself.
Could also do tcon boards, both between panel & tcon board and Main board & tcon.
