Samsung UE40MU6120K Blank screen

Hi all, I have a problem with my mothers samsung UE40MU6120K. The TV powers up and the backlight lights up, however the tv produces a blank screen and then the tv begins to bootloop, restarting itself every 5 secs or so however maybe 1/50 times it boots the samsung logo clear as if there were no issue at all, but then restarts. I have changed the power board suspecting this may be the culprit, but to no avail. I then changed the main board and still the same issue. Anyone else ever had an issue like this or any suggestions of anything else I can try before the tv heads for recycling? Thanks in advance.
