Soniq L32V12A-AU glitches on startup

Hi,
I've recently got a 32" (L32V12A-AU) Soniq, aussie model that I'm hoping to use in an arcade build, however it's slightly broken (which is why I have it).
I suspect its a main or video board, but hoping someone can confirm and let me know if it's worth bothering to try and fix it.
Powers on, standby light flashes as it boots up.
Backlight comes on, logo and startup tune load.
Logo then glitches, image splits horizontally with a green line between the two pieces
Logo flickers off, on and glitches again.
Screen goes blank, backlight still on.
Standby light flickers every time a button is pressed on unit (no remote).
Also, I don't know if this is any help but the sequence above is totally repeatable every time you turn it on, so it's not just a loose connection but more like a corrupt startup?
