Hello everyone,
I feel rude just signing up and posting a question and i appologise. Well, I just bought a sony Bravia KDL-40XBR4 in hopes i could repair it. Here are two photos of the screens problem...

As you can see, the picture is not too great. Its not very detailed and its always green in the darker shadows. I got the screen to look normal last night after having it on for a while and then doing a master reset. But, when i woke up this morning it was back to the same problem and i couldn't get rid of it.
I figure it is something internal, even the static when no inputs are plugged in has green in it and the menu buttons have weird sharp contrast look to them. Ive tried both the computer input and cable and both are displayed with the same problem.
I did a little searching and noticed it could be the ub1 board or fb1 board and the timing controller or even the screen (which i am praying its not).
What does everyone think this problem could be? Im trying to fix it myself, i dont have alot of money into it, so it's not a huge risk.
