Westinghouse DWM40F1G1, No picture No Sound, Backlight is good

Complete noob here, so my apologies in advance if I don't articulate this well.
I was given a Westinghouse 40" LED TV, model DWM40F1G1, I have no picture or sound, but backlight and power to the unit is fine. My initial thought is the main board (not sure technically was that is called). The number on the board is TP.MS3393.P85.
Does replacing that board seem like the logical next step in trying to get this to work or am I looking at this too simplistically?
