Zenith TV picture problem Can't Post

Have a zenith tv, that starts off with a small vertical line in the middle of the screen but expands to full screen after it warms-up, also picture has a strong green color within the picture after it warms up.

Does anyone have any ideas on what might be the cause?????

you need to resolder pins on vertical ic is located behind high voltage transfomer all the way to back of board is mounted on a heat sink as for green problem could need to turn green down but more likely bad picture tube

Got the picture working, after resoldering pins on heatsink. Still have the one problem with the screen being green, might be the picture tube, anyone have any ideas on what else could be the problem? Checked all color settings.

Once again, a model number would help. Also, is the picture all green or just a green hue with the red and green still there?

If adjusting the controls on the CRT board did not correct the problem, Shadetree is probably correct about it being the CRT. Zenith CRTs from that era are notoriously unreliable. One thing more to check is if you have around 150 volts DC on pin 6 of the CRT. If it is 0 check the related components for opens or bad solder. If it is there, the problem is likely the CRT.
