I've got a Digihome 37723 LCD HD set. On power up the picture flashes on the disappears. Sound is OK. the picture does not flash on and off as if it were a dry-joint, intermittent type fault, just appears the one time for a fraction of a second at power up, no signs of any swollen capacitors or physical damage, overheating etc. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Power board, control board, inverter board, panel - all need to be either proven good or proven bad. Smile

Wow, I have the same problem, and was just about to create my own thread. I have an Akai LCT2785TA, and the "Akai" screen quickly flashes on startup, then remains off. The status led remains green, and the sound remains working.

Are these two sets twins? Do they use the SAME boards? If NO to both, maybe you SHOULD start your own thread.
