toshiba 32hl67 Screen goes black NEED HELP! Can't Post
my toshiba 32hl67 tv shows the screen for a second and then goes black but I still have audio and the screen will come back if I turn the tv off and hit the top of the tv when It's coming on and then the image will stay for maybe 10 - 30 minutes before going black again. There Is no glow to the screen so I think It has to do with the backlight. PLEASE HELP!

Ok so the flow chart for that said that I have to replace the lcd display, and I'm guessing that means theres no easy thing I can do just for the backlight or ccfl to fix it, right?

IF it's a ccfl - no hope.
IF it's inverter, you will need to disassemble to even inspect.

Does hitting set WHILE it is is working cause it to stop?

No just lightly pounding on the top plastic of it while it is turning on causes it to work for a while, but hitting it while it is on doesn't do anything.

Most likely NOT a broken bulb.
Could also be a loose wire, bad solder joint, etc.
