Go Video DDV9490 Dual Deck VCR Can't Post

Does anyone have a manual for the above and would be so kind as to copy it for me? I would pay for whatever it costs. Or if you can scan the pages for download that would be great.

Did you ever get a manual for this? I have a dual deck Go Video VCR but I'm not sure of the model. I'm not at home now, but I'll check and let you know.

No I didn't Russ. I sure wish I could find one. I am wondering how to switch to line, for instance. Let me know if you can help.

Lee, I should be able to let you know tomorrow whether I have your model.

Lee, based on what you said, I'm sure you must have seen this, but I'm sending it along just in case. I found it with a Yahoo search.

Is he looking for the User or the Service Manual?Wink

If "close enough" same site has full USER manual...
http://www.retrevo.com/...amp;ts=1252745380238

Aux — Records video and audio from the
front auxiliary inputs.
TV View — Switches the TV display among the
Tuner, Deck 1, Deck 2, and Aux. This allows
you to rotate through all your input sources—
TV shows, videos, DVD players, etc.—at the
touch of a button.

Thanks again. I was looking for users manual and like usual you are very helpful. I think I will get the service manual while it is available, just in case the deck gives me a problem.

jts1957: Oops, you're right. I hadn't noticed it was the service manual.

Lee: I have a vague memory of hearing that GoVideo went out of business a few years ago. The GoVideo website doesn't appear to be very complete. Here's another page I found, but you've probably already seen it. It does have a phone number and email address, but they're likely obsolete: http://www.aboutus.org/GoVideo.com

On the back of the manual for my GoVideo DDV3110 dual deck, it shows that GoVideo is/was owned by a company named Sonic Blue with a website of www.sonicblue.com. However, I could not get to that website, which doesn't look promising. The address on the back of my manual is 7835 East McClain Drive, Scottsdale, AZ 85260.

Good luck with your search.

Sometimes the service manual has some or all of the operating instructions.

Did you try the procedure I posted? Many I've worked on appear to work quite similarly.
