Go video 2140 dvd vcr recording problem,when i try and record from tv to vhs tape i get the video fine but the sound is garbled and it pops or clicks,i tryed to adjust tracking doesnt help.just started happening owned it about 5 yrs.

try cleaning the audio head,( to the right of the main headdrum).Otherwise the pressure roller could be worn,pulling the tape off alignment

Try a new cassette tape before touching inside, if you have no idea how? Then DON'T!!!!!!!!!
