Highest playback VCR Can't Post

Im looking for a VCR that has the highest ability and Quality to Play back stuff. I'd like to Start putting my VCR tapes and stuff (home videos and the like) to digital on my computer. one of the guides i read pointed out that in order to squeeze the best copy of whatever video i got i should get a good VCR. He said the one he got has 19 micro heads. Aside from being compeltely obvlivous to what a micro head is and does, what he says makes sense to me.

Anyway im looking for people who can suggest top notch Play back VCR's ones that can handle tapes today and tapes almost 20 years old or more. so if anyone could suggest somthing (doesn't have to be cheap) or someone to ask that would have this kinda information, id appreate it. tks.

One option is a HiFi 4 Head VCR, here's the specs:

That's a pretty high end VCR which runs $75 here at Bursma. Call 1-800-676-8926 if interested. You could probably find a similar VCR from your local TV/electronics shop.
