Mitsubishi VCR not accepting tape

Anyways, I have this Mitsubishi HV-S10/ HV-U65 from Japan. It does turn on but there are two clicks before turning standby. trying to insert a tape doesn't work, it doesn't go in fully, and If i manage to do It, it just stuck there and I have to unscrew it to remove the thing. Anyone help?
