Philips VCR Decks-Interchangeability? Can't Post

I have a Philips 21/288/05 Combo (TV+Video). The video heads are worn out .I have a Philips VR285/05 which also uses the Queen deck . Is it possible to change decks?. I realise the under deck PCB for sensors etc ,and head amp PCB are different and, would have to be swopped over. I notice there are no presets or trimmers on this PCB. Would the deck work OK? Has anybody swopped decks with success please?
thanks
Andy

if you are referring the entire video drum assembly, You can use it with other deck as long as they share same connector to the vcr you are swapping to. Regardless, of the board design. It works most on Sony vcr's. Phillips should be thesame.
