Printed circuit board no longer availble Can't Post

HI

Where can I find the following Sony audio printed ciruit board: A-7053-385-A? It is for a Sony 8mm Video Recorder/Monitor. It is no longer available from Sony.

Thanks

I'd say good luck on that search - have you tried recapping the board?

Hi Barry

Thanks for the reply. What does the term "recapping" mean?
Also, are there any companies that specialize in buying out old out of production boards from the major electronic firms?
One of the major problems I have is trouble shooting the boards that have surface mounted components. I do not have the state-of-the-art desoldering tools and magnifying equipment to do the job.

Thanks
