I'm trying to repair this VCR...
If you enter stop or play while the machine is in fast forward or rewind (or allow it to go to the end of the tape and enter stop by itself), the deck will stop and the loading motor will run for a few seconds, then the deck will shut down and display the error code "3L 10cc".
If you wait for 10 seconds more, the machine will reset & work until it has to stop in fast wind again, then it will go back into the same failure mode. Deck will load, play, and eject normally when not in this failure mode.
The mode switch was removed, cleaned, and replaced, but this did not fix the problem.
Does anyone have any suggestions, or know what the error code means?
