After unplugging the vcr, it's now gone completely dead after I tried to power it up again.
I gather that the Mitsumi SR825 PSU is a common problem and caps need replacing.
I am having trouble getting the can off of the board. I have de-soldered it at 6 points, but something is still holding it.
Can anyone tell me how to dis-assemble it without causing damage, so that I can get to the electrolytics ?
