VCR Problem 1984 Sylvania shows white distortion.	Can't Post

Hello,
I have a 1984 Sylvania VCR that is acting up, i have so far replaced the Pinch roller, changed the idler tire, cleaned the heads and other moving parts. When I try to play any vhs tapes I get white distortion and sometimes a jumpy picture that I can not stabilize with slow tracking or tracking knobs, maybe someone knows how to solve this issue.

Too bad that video is of someone else's machine.

It would be nice to observe the effect of the tracking control.
How close does it come to eliminating noise?
Has the mechanism been cleaned?
How shiny is the surface of the pinch (pressure) roller?
Any black buildup above or below the tape's width on the surface of the capstan shaft?
