Re: [Gus67] IR problems with two tv's [In reply to] Can't Post

I completely agree with you. I do not find any credible reason with the microprocessor. Just changing the frequency using each IR can be changed and the result should be ok.

AirenBunte;.....

With some respect.....
This IS a LONG dead horse....

You are WRONG about the IR changing frequency....
IR stands for Infrared Receiver....
It in NO WAY changes frequency....PERIOD !!!!
It receives & amplifies the infrared pulses from the remote transmitter & merely passes them on to the microprocessor....PERIOD !!!
The micro with the use of an external eprom OR a built in eprom , decodes the pulses & sends them on to do what they are designed to do....

Now , you sir , are a businessman who loves to watch movies...
You've made a total of 3 posts here & so far you show NO knowledge of electronics OR ANYTHING NEAR TV experience...
Your advice was WAAAY off the mark & WRONG.....Unsure...

If you can't post any better advice that that , PLEASE DON"T post at all...
THANKS...

.Ron.M....

Yes, you are right that I am a businessman and do not have much idea about the technical issue. But what I mentioned was getting some knowledge from the previous answer. I might wrong but what about the other reply? Did you read them all. Do you think the problem is being happening for the microprocessor?

Thanks for your advice. I will keep it in my mind.

ABSOLUTELY....Did YOU ????

One LAST time folks.....
The microprocessor OR the IR is NOT the problem....PERIOD....
It "may" be programing .... "MAY" !!!!

I can't make it ANY plainer than that....
