Yes 116MB sounds right. I was estimating the size.

jts1957 I suppose I misinterpret your sense of humor for being simply rude, however I dont wish to have a bad relationship with you on the forum. From your other threads I have been rather impressed by your knowledge and skill in the trade and only wish you could help me as much as you help others. I am of course no where as near as good as you in this trade nor do I claim to be but I feel no need to be patronized about it. I only ask for your help.

YES...YES...WE GOT IT !!!...
Last night at 10:33 PM after about 8 HOURS of downloading I succeeded in getting the ITC222 file completed...
Properties shows 116MB & not 5MB as I got the first time...
Now I have to find a SAFE way to open it.....
I have 7-Zip , but am leary of opening the file with it...
What would be the SAFEST way to open that file ???...
It is a RAR file & I've had probs with those types of programs...
I've notified D-Rock3 & waiting for a reply...
Any suggestions ???

I usually click on the link on the Google results listing of my choice. I find it's easier than typing all those http://www.blahblahblah.com (org; net, whatever).

When I download rar/zip files: I click on the file, a window opens: "what should firefox do with this file" opens with: winRAR.xxx(default) [I choose "OK"]; it downloads and scans for viruses and the winrar window opens with the file(s) shown on a list with top one highlighted; I then click on the "extract" button and it gives me an "extract path and options" window - I usually choose "desktop" then hit OK; it extracts file and puts an icon onto desktop; I double-click on icon - voila!

I agree on the typing part....But to get links that work, I go to the website
first then right click on the Google address bar at the top of the webpage
til it turns blue then click "copy" & transfer it to post or PM it...
There's a way to save those links so you only have to do it once....
But I don't know the method...

I have IE-7 so the FireFox info won't help....
WinRaR took over some files...& it does not seem to be helping at all...
I have you on one line with WinRaR & D-Rock on the other line with 7-Zip...
One way or tother I hope we get past this SOON...

Left click on the "address bar" top center does same for me.
I usually try the link from post preview to make sure it works, but I was in a hurry.
I thought I obtained from "about winrar" under "help?"Crazy

Okay due to all the problems that have come up I uploaded all the files to the hosting site individually. He can now surf through the files and download what he pleases.

If anyone else would like access to the information purchased please PM me and I can grant you access.

D-Rock3;....

GREAT to see ya !!!

Mr computer whiz:...I have another glitch!!!
When I first extracted the files , ALL the sub-files had a Foxit graphic...And I could easily open them ....
Now after I closed my desktop down to PM you , I got a surprise when I returned....
ALL the Alignment items do have the Foxit graphic & I can open them fine....
HOWEVER !!!...The schematics section is screwed up....73_CRT is the ONLY file that has the Foxit graphic & I can open it fine....
MOST of the rest are VERY pale washed out images of schematics that I can NOT open !!!!...I've tried Foxit & Adobe...Foxit says it needs a PDF converter which I can not get...Fails to install....Adobe gives a message that the file is dammaged (Which it's NOT) & it's a jpg...Clicking on properties for those files show them as "JPEG".....
There are 11 "ADMI" boxes that are totally black !!! Also shown as JPEG & will not open up....One is a "SWF" file....One has the "Opera" browser graphic & opens up a webpage....Cute !!!

What I've just discovered is that when I extract them again the Foxit graphic appears momentarily & then quickly dissappears to those washed out images....

What I need is to be able to open the file , copy & paste parts of it to help you out....
Adobe & Foxit are not allowing me to open the files or copy & paste.....
I now have WinZip installed...I "may" not be extracting them correctly....PM me with detailed info as to extract...

Any other ideas ????

All but a few of the files inside the Schematics folders are JPEG image files and NOT PDF files. You can open JPG/JPEG files with a variety of programs. Microsoft Paint, Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, and a variety of other programs will open it. If you find that you cant seem to get these programs to run I suggest using a free utility available on the web from the link below called Irfanview. This image utility will open any image even if partly corrupt, or with the wrong file extension.

Next thing to solve is the copy & paste problem.....

D-Rock3;.....

I spent a good amount of time trying to find & use a program to
convert JPEG , JPG , etc files to PDF....No luck....
I need some help with that.....It would make life a whole lot easier for me.....

Now for your TV:

You now have 2 problems with your TV....
I think we'll try to fix the second one before we go back to the first...
That being the vertical....
On the board near the flyback is a connector that should be marked "BL500"....
I'm sending you a PM with an attachment showing the connector's location...
I believe there are 7 pins total there....
Look for an identifying number "1" pin....It will be the pin closest to the flyback....
You will have to hook up your meter to pins #1 & #6....
If you have sharp points on your meter leads , you should be able to stick them into the top part of the connector & stand them up (AWAY from the flyback)....
Those are the vertical output pins that drive all 3 yokes....
Set your meter on "AC" volts to read a max of 15 volts AC...
Plug in the TV & turn it on while watching the meter....
You "should" see a reading of 6~8 volts AC.....
Post the results...

once power was applied to the tv and the button was pressed the AC voltage on pins 1 and 6 spiked to 6 volts and immediately dropped to zero and with every self retry from the TV the voltage spiked between 1.5 and 3 volts.

Sorry about the delay today....I've re-formatted this computer....Slow , VERY SLOW process...Needed IE , modem etc...Just a pain in the @$$....

Now about your TV....

You're not going to like this BUT we have to do it again....
See post #34.#35 & #36....
PLEASE re-check those voltages again & post all info here....
The reason is , that I want to be sure nothing else got hit when you had your little slip...
I'm not happy with:=>.."every self retry from the TV the voltage spiked between 1.5 and 3 volts."....
Should come back every time with about the same volts....
Don't forget LL008....

Good Luck...Use CARE !!!
